Strep-Tactin®XT Superflow® cartridge
HPLC/FPLC cartridge to purify Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins
Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® replaces Strep-Tactin®XT Superflow® as of July 1st, 2021.
Strep-Tactin®XT Superflow® cartridges contain a 6% agarose coupled with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin®XT and are applicable for purification of Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins with HPLC/FPLC devices like Äkta® systems (Cytiva). In comparison to Strep-Tactin® Superflow®, Strep-Tactin®XT Superflow® has a higher affinity for Strep-tag® fusion proteins, which leads to an improved immobilization and purification. In addition, Strep-Tactin®XT Superflow® allows the application of denaturing agents such as urea during the purification procedure. As with any other Strep-Tactin®XT resins, the unspecific protein binding is extremely low, which results in an outstanding purity of the target protein.
