Strep-Tactin®XT is a streptavidin variant, which binds to Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® with high affinity and specificity. In applications like flow cytometry, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry, Strep-Tactin®XT conjugated to DY-488 can detect Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins directly.
The fluorescent dye's absorption/emission maximum is 493/518 nm.
