Strep-Tactin® elution buffer with desthiobiotin

10x Buffer E contains desthiobiotin and is a 10x concentrated elution buffer for Strep-Tactin® resins. Desthiobiotin is a modified form of biotin that displaces Strep-tag®II and Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins from the biotin binding pocket of Strep-Tactin®.
Please note that 10x Buffer E is not applicable for elution from Strep-Tactin®XT resins.
